The proud city of Kaduna hosted Dambe Warriors League Circuit Fight 10 at Ahmadu Bello Stadium this past Sunday, February 18th. Event organizers and Warriors were amazed at the turnout in their new destination and are already excited to come back.

Possibly the fight of the night though goes to RAMADAN and BAHAGON DOGO MAITASKWASARA, where RAMADAN narrowly defeated BDM by one point in the first ever fight that went to extra time, 114-113. This victory sets up the Season 2 Middleweight championship fight on March 3rd between RAMADAN and SHAABAN. Meanwhile, BDM and ONDO have been relegated from the top tier of Dambe Warriors League.
In reviewing the Lightweight division results from Kaduna, ZAYYANU regained his winning form with the of AUTAN ALI KANIN BELLO by winning all three rounds, and ultimately the match, by a score of 89-80. CHINDO narrowly emerged victorious over challenger KUDAWA in a fight that went the distance by the score of 88-86. But, the fight of the Lightweight division goes to the undefeated YAR MAGE, who delivered a punishing knockout over Season 1 hero SISCO. With the victories, YAR MAGE and ZAYYANU are set to square off this March 3rd in Lagos at SuperFight 02 in a match that is sure to have everyone on the edge of their seats. With the losses, SISCO and BELLO have been eliminated from the League. We wish them the best of luck and thank them for their efforts.
Among the Middleweights, ZAZU continued his streak of victories with a convincing win over veteran DAN NIGERIA by a score of 89-85. Newcomer SHAABAN was thoroughly dominating ONDO by a score of 60-54 before ONDO was disqualified due to an illegal strike below the belt.
The Heavyweights treated the Kaduna crowd to three epic showdowns. Season 02 newcomer SANI clubbed DAGE with a vicious knockout, and DUTSE bested the always dangerous SHAMSU by a narrow 87-84 victory.
The result sets up a rematch between these two titans at SuperFight 02 at Muri Okunola Park on March 3rd in Lagos.
Unfortunately, it is DAGE and SANI who finished the season ranked #5 and #6 and have been eliminated from the League.
